Active Quest Days: Ball Game and Fitness
The Wellness and Enrichment Team organised a badminton and fitness event on 11 and 13 February 2026 aimed at providing students and staff with a refreshing and engaging way to relieve stress, improve physical fitness, and foster social connections. This workshop offered participants the opportunity to take a break from academic and work pressures while developing their badminton skills in a supportive environment.
Professional badminton coaches led the session, teaching fundamental techniques such as proper smashing posture and the basic rules of doubles matches. Participants reported improvements in their physical comfort and confidence, noting reduced strain and increased awareness of correct playing form.
Beyond skill-building, the workshop emphasised community and peer support. During breaks, participants were grouped into small circles to share experiences related to badminton. These conversations encouraged mutual support, practical advice, and emotional connection, helping attendees feel less isolated and more empowered to manage their concerns. The Wellness and Enrichment Team hopes that the participants can keep up with their exercise habit and maintain good health.
