On 3 December 2025, the Faculty of Humanities’ Wellness and Enrichment Team hosted a Healthy Snack Giveaway event to support students during the demanding exam period. Student Wellness Officers distributed snacks and refreshing desserts to students while engaging them in providing feedback and suggestions for upcoming wellness activities.
The event attracted enthusiastic participation, with many students pre-registering online and dropping in. Taking place at the start of exam week, the booth provided a warm and supportive environment for students who had returned to campus to submit assignments, deliver presentations, or prepare for exams in the library. Receiving snacks brought moments of comfort and joy amid their busy schedules.
Through conversations with participants, the team gained valuable insights into the pressures students face, particularly related to internships and coursework, and their need for effective relaxation methods. Students expressed strong interest in group activities that promote stress relief and creativity, such as DIY craft workshops, Hong Kong tours and career workshops.
The positive response and thoughtful suggestions from students have energised the team in planning a range of diverse wellness activities next semester, aiming to enhance student wellbeing through meaningful and engaging experiences.
